How to register as member?

You will be automatically given a membership account when you buy the billing plan.

Gate and car stickers

Gate tag and car stickers are issued to all Gated & Guarded (G&G) contributing members. This is used to identify you as a contributing member to the Taman’s G&G initiative.

Both tag and stickers are valid for 6 months, from January till June and July till December of each year.

Each contributing G&G member will be entitled to only 1 gate tag and 3 car stickers per household. Should you require additional car stickers, this will be charged at RM10 per additional car sticker.

Contributing members are urged to ensure that you have the current period stickers clearly displayed on your car windshield. This will assist guards to identify you as a contributing G&G member.

Residents are urged not to use old gate tag or car stickers. Guards will be requesting Residents to surrender all old tag and stickers if these are still being used.

Tag and stickers remain the property of PJS 9 RA and may be revoked for any lapses in payment.

How to report to MBSJ?

First register an account on the SISPAA website; you can do so both on the website or through the Respons Rakyat mobile app. If you're having trouble registering through the mobile app, try using the website instead.

In what situations should I notify security?
  1. When you see an unlocked gate in the back alley that has been left unattended, it should always be locked.
  2. A parked car is obstructing the road or making it difficult to pass through.
  3. Someone appears to be wandering the neighborhood suspiciously.
  4. Saw someone stealing clothes, shoe, parcels, or even your plants like curry leaves!
  5. Loud noises after 12am.
  6. A tent set up on your street, and your neighbor didn't tell you anything about it. Request to see MBSJ's approved permit.
Parking issues

Members can contact security on duty to assist you on any of the following matter:-

  • Illegal parking: Vehicles parked in undesignated areas, blocking driveways or obstructing traffic flow and safety concerns.
  • Oversized vehicles: Large vehicles like RVs, trailers, or commercial trucks occupying excessive space or causing difficulty maneuvering.
  • Too many visitors: Lack of designated parking for guests, resulting in them parking in front of neighboring properties.
Abandoned cars

If you observe a vehicle that has been abandoned in the same location for 2 weeks without a valid car sticker, please use the SISPAA to report it to MBSJ by taking a picture of the vehicle, including the number plate and precise location.

Setting up a tent in front of a house

Please be considerate by informing your neighbours at Telegram group chat even if you’ve already applied for tent permit from MBSJ.  Complaints to MBSJ can be avoided by keeping neighbors informed, which fosters cooperation and understanding among residents.

Setting up the tent must be done after working hours at least (1) day before the occasion. All ceremonies / ceremonies must end no later than 12.00 midnight.

According to Section 46(1)(a) of the 1974 Road, Drainage and Building Act, setting up tents in the middle of the road, whether it's for weddings, funerals, banquets, or other purposes, is considered illegal as it obstructs traffic flow. If MBSJ receives public complaints about unpermitted canopies obstructing the traffic, they have the authority to instruct the homeowners to remove the obstruction or fined RM1000.

CLEANLINESS

What counts as littering?

When any of the following are discarded in a public place or at neighbor's trash bin rather than your own.

Fine of up to RM 2,000 or a maximum period of imprisonment of 1 years or both. Repeating offense may in addition be fined not exceeding RM 200 for each day the offense is committed.

Managing Stray Cats

If residents experiencing damage to their property caused by stray cats, such as destroyed plants, scratches on cars, or waste on private property, resident can make a complaint to MBSJ.

Stray cats are a common sight in many neighborhoods, and while they can bring joy to some residents, their presence may also lead to challenges such as damaged plants, scratches on cars, and unwanted pee and poop on private property. Here is a guide on how to manage stray cats in the neighborhood and address related issues effectively:

  • High Risk of illness: Stray cats could be spreading toxoplasmosis – an illness caused by an infection with the parasite. The parasite reproduces in the intestinal tracts of cats. Most people with healthy immune systems who get toxoplasmosis do not have symptoms. Those with symptoms may experience flu-like symptoms, swollen lymph nodes, muscle aches, and pains. Severe toxoplasmosis causes damage to the brain, eyes, or other organs.

  • Damage to Property: Install physical barriers like fencing or netting to prevent cats from accessing certain areas. Use scent deterrents or natural repellents like citrus peels, coffee grounds, or commercial cat repellents to discourage cats from entering specific areas. Place motion-activated devices or ultrasonic deterrents to startle cats and deter them from approaching.
  • Cleaning Up Strays Pee and Poo: If you find cat urine or feces on your property, clean the area promptly with an enzymatic cleaner to remove odors and discourage cats from returning to the same spot.
  • Caught In Cage: Stray cats can be given to MBSJ if trapped in cages.
  • Educational Initiatives: Raise awareness among residents about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying/neutering cats, and the benefits of supporting local animal shelters and rescue groups.
  • Community Support: Encourage open communication among neighbors to address concerns related to stray cats collectively. Consider forming a neighborhood watch group or establishing guidelines for managing stray animals.

By adopting a proactive and compassionate approach towards managing stray cats in the neighborhood, residents can create a harmonious environment for both humans and animals. Together, through cooperation and understanding, we can foster a community where all inhabitants coexist peacefully and respectfully.

How to properly dispose pet poop?

 

Get a recyclable pet litter bag to pick up your pet's waste when you go for walks and then throw it away in the rubbish bin, not in someone else's rubbish bin. You can even get that comes with the scooper at Shopee

Fines up to RM2,000 or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding one year or both under Local Government Act 1976 if caught not cleaning up your pet's litter.

Can I ask security to help pick dead animals?

No, not directly, but they will help you deliver your message to the right person.

How to throw leaves, twigs, flowers?

Residents' garden waste such as leaves, twigs, flowers should be put in black plastic and tied and placed in front of the house for scheduled collection on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday

Warning: Private tree waste cannot be thrown away at any public area. Compound will be issued for the offense of throwing away tree litter. Collection of tree trash service is available at RM 50.00 for 1/3 truckload. 

Call MBSJ Jabatan Landskap 03-8026 4413 /03-8026 4411 for any of the following: (i) to maintain the rendang trees belonging to the council; (ii) collection of tree waste at RM 50 for 1/3 of a lorry; (iii) repairing garden facilities. Source link
